Embark on an unforgettable journey through the breathtaking landscapes of South Africa with Ajimba African Tours!
You won't find this individual motorcycle tour in any brochure!
Start your adventure in Cape Town, a vibrant metropolis that combines first-world comfort with African charm. But the real excitement starts when we dive into the heart of the South African wilderness.
Experience the thrill of sand training, a challenge that will push you to your limits and show off your courage, and get to know the bike. We drive over mountain passes, first on tar, then on gravel, through landscapes that most tourists will never see or experience, to the Cederberg Mountains, where they will spend the night in fixed tents and experience real country life. Your motorcycle guide Dave has been riding a motorcycle for over 30 years and shows the beauty of the Western Cape.
We venture into iconic, historic landscapes and traverse the expanse of the Tankwa Karoo, a hidden gem unknown even to many South Africans. At Bike X Cape, we experience the geographical opposite of what you are used to in Germany - the void with real stars in such abundance that it is awe-inspiring.
In Sutherland, home of the South African Large Telescope, we marvel at the beauty of South Africa's coldest place and head back to Bike X Cape to spend another night under the stars.
Then we'll set our “Expedition” Continue to Ons Karoo Plaas and travel the breathtaking Seweweekspoort Pass with its treacherous curves, dramatic views and secluded valleys where time seems to stand still. We drive on gravel straight to “De Hel” and are amazed at the indestructibility of the few people who call this rugged terrain home. A difficult ride with steep slopes and tight hairpin turns. We end up in a remote valley with only a few inhabitants and ask ourselves again and again how they survive here. The roads are treacherous and are often washed away, so we will be fine-tuning our local trip to current conditions.
We traverse diverse habitats, from desert plains to lush coastlines, and enjoy moments of relaxation, hiking, and swimming in South Africa's coastal paradise.
Then we dive into the thrill of a day game trip to the Big 5 at Bottlierskop, where encounters with lions, rhinos and other animals await us in the midst of the untamed wilderness.
We can round off the trip with an adrenaline-packed cage dive with the great white shark in Mossel Bay (optional), followed by an exploration of the enchanting forests and mystical caves of Gansbaai
.
Towards the end, we return to Cape Town and take with us the experiences and memories of a wonderful adventure in the wild heart of South Africa.
This is more than a journey, it is an odyssey of discovery on breathtaking routes!
