Day by day on your journey
Durban / Umdloti Beach
Your small-group tour begins in Durban. After arrival, you will be transferred to Umdloti Beach on the Indian Ocean coast. A walk along the beach offers a relaxing start to your trip.
St Lucia
Today you will travel to St Lucia, located at the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. On a boat trip along the St Lucia Estuary, you will have the chance to spot hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species in their natural habitat.
Hluhluwe-iMfolozi / eSwatini
The morning begins with an open-vehicle safari in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park. This historic reserve is particularly well-known for its rhino population. Afterward, the journey continues into the Kingdom of eSwatini.
eSwatini
Today, you will gain insights into the culture of eSwatini. In the Ezulwini Valley, you will visit traditional craft markets and a cultural village to learn about the history, traditions, and daily life of the Swazi people.
Panorama Route / Kruger Region
Back in South Africa, the journey continues along the famous Panorama Route. Bourke's Luck Potholes, the Three Rondavels, and God's Window are among the scenic highlights. In the afternoon, you will reach your lodge near Kruger National Park.
Kruger National Park
A full day is dedicated to Kruger National Park. You will head out on a game drive in an open safari vehicle with an experienced ranger. With a bit of luck, you will encounter the Big Five as well as numerous other mammal and bird species.
Johannesburg
After breakfast, you will leave the Kruger region and drive through the diverse landscape of the Highveld to Johannesburg. Your tour ends there; return flights can be scheduled for the late afternoon onwards.
