South Africa Highlights – 15 days from Cape Town to Johannesburg
This 15-day small-group tour in German combines the scenic highlights of the Garden Route with the fascinating wildlife parks in the east of the country.
From Cape Town, the journey takes you through the wine region, Oudtshoorn, Knysna, and Addo, continuing to KwaZulu-Natal, eSwatini, the Panorama Route, and finally the Kruger National Park.

Arrival at the V&A Waterfront
Meet your guide at the airport and transfer privately to the V&A Waterfront. The rest of the day is free for your first discoveries.
Discover Cape Town
Half-day German-language city tour including Bo-Kaap, Company's Garden, Greenmarket Square and the Waterfront. Table Mountain is optional.
Cape of Good Hope
Full-day excursion via Chapman's Peak Drive to the Cape of Good Hope and the penguin colony at Boulders Beach.
Winelands & Franschhoek
Travel into the Winelands, enjoy a walking tour in Stellenbosch and a wine tasting in the Franschhoek region.
Route 62 & Ostrich Farm
Follow the scenic Route 62 to Oudtshoorn. In the afternoon, visit a traditional ostrich farm.
Cango Caves & Garden Route
Visit the Cango Caves and continue to Knysna. During whale season, an optional whale-watching stop in Mossel Bay is possible.
Wild Coastline and First Safari
Visit Tsitsikamma National Park and continue to Addo Elephant National Park. Enjoy your first game drive in the afternoon.
Safari in a Private Game Reserve
Jeep safari in the Amakhala Game Reserve with an experienced ranger, including lunch at a lodge inside the reserve.
Flight to the East Coast
Enjoy an orientation tour of Gqeberha, then fly to Durban and transfer to Umdloti Beach.
Safari in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park
Travel through KwaZulu-Natal and enjoy a game drive in an open safari vehicle in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park. Afterwards, continue to St Lucia.
River Safari & Cultural Change
Boat safari on the St Lucia Estuary with hippos and crocodiles. Afterwards, continue to Eswatini with a craft market and cultural village visit.
Back to South Africa
Return to South Africa and travel to the Hazyview/Sabie area on the edge of the Panorama Route. The afternoon is free.
Three Rondavels & God's Window
Visit Bourke's Luck Potholes, the Three Rondavels and God's Window. Afterwards, continue to your lodge near Kruger National Park.
Full-Day Safari
Full-day game drive in an open safari vehicle through Kruger National Park, with chances to see the Big Five and many other species.
Farewell to South Africa
After breakfast, drive to Johannesburg. Return flights are possible from late afternoon.
