Travel with social and environmental added value: Ajimba supports.

Ajimba projects.

A desire for action: help with real use.

Ajimba gives you the opportunity to get to know a number of relief or protection projects on site in person — and also to support them with action. Our guiding principle of fair and sustainable tourism could hardly be implemented better and your trip could be provided with social and ecological added value.

The following projects are examples of our commitment. Please let us know which project can be included in your itinerary. We are constantly working on further ideas for people, nature and species protection in southern Africa.

Your journey with Ajimba supports this and other projects.
Labdoo.org
Transnational

The Labdoo.org aid project is a globally active NGO and private initiative of volunteers. The project collects unused, discarded laptops, tablets or eBook readers for educational projects at home and abroad, including for African schools. With IT donations worldwide, Labdoo.org wants to reduce the “digital divide” in an ecologically responsible way and give children access to IT and education.

9Miles Project
South Africa

In 2013, Nigel Savel and his wife Sher'Neil founded the non-profit organization 9Miles Project in Cape Town. Since then, they and their team have been helping to bring children from impoverished backgrounds, to show them new perspectives in order to keep them away from drugs and crime and to give them the opportunity for a better life.

Imvelo Community Care
Zimbabwe

With its sustainable safari lodges, the IMVELO Community Care project creates a connection between nature and people through the involvement of the local community in tourism and wildlife conservation.

Sun glass from South Africa
South Africa

Sun glasses from Johannesburg shed light on the darkness and help many families in the Johannesburg area to receive a fair income.

Kariega Foundation
South Africa

The Kariega Foundation, a non-profit organization, was born out of a desire to contribute to strengthening local communities around the Kariega Game Reserve. Sustainable species protection of wild animals and their conservation is also part of this. The Foundation works in collaboration with the Kariega Game Reserve in these key areas.
