Namibia — a country of contrasts, where endless desert landscapes, barren rocks and wild animals form an unforgettable symphony of nature and culture. On this 12-day German-language small group trip, you will discover the country's highlights: from the Red Kalahari to the majestic Namib with the highest sand dunes in the world to the species-rich Etosha National Park.
Your journey starts in Windhoek and takes you into the silence of the Kalahari, where the sun bathes the sand dunes in warm light on a “sunrise drive”. At Sossusvlei, you will experience the magic of the Namib Desert with its iconic dunes and the mystical Dead Vlei. In Swakopmund, you can feel the colonial flair, while you can take optional trips such as a boat trip to see seals and dolphins in Walvis Bay or a Living Desert Tour.
Continue to Damaraland, where the famous rock engravings of Twyfelfontein and the bizarre basalt columns of organ pipes await you. In Etosha National Park, spend two days on safari: elephants, zebras, giraffes and maybe even lions or leopards cross your path. Finally, at Waterberg, you can walk on paths steeped in history — and have the option of seeing the last rhinos in the region up close while tracking rhinos.
This trip offers you the perfect mix of natural wonders, animal encounters and cultural impressions — comfortably organized, in a small group and with a German-speaking tour guide. Namibia will enchant you with its endless expanse, its colors and its originality.
