From Johannesburg into Botswana's Wilderness
After the first night in Johannesburg, the route leads via Khama Rhino Sanctuary to Maun. Here you reach the gateway to the Okavango Delta and the starting point for the camping days ahead.
Three Nights Camping in the Okavango Delta
Now the particularly authentic part of the journey begins. Camp for three nights in the Okavango Delta and experience its watery wilderness by mokoro and on foot – in the heart of one of Africa's most extraordinary landscapes.
Four Nights in the Heart of the Wildlife Areas
Moremi and Savuti are among Botswana's richest wildlife regions. Spend four nights camping here and explore the wilderness by 4x4, with lions, elephants and many other species shaping this intensive safari stage.
Safari on the Chobe
Continue into Chobe National Park. Two camping nights bring you close to the wilderness once again; Chobe is especially renowned for its large elephant population and diverse wildlife along the river.
Victoria Falls and Journey's End
After the camping nights, spend the final two nights in a permanent lodge in Livingstone. From here, experience Victoria Falls and choose from optional activities before the safari ends.
