Travel in a comfortable group of no more than 16 participants. This 8-day program takes you through Cape Town and the Cape Winelands. Your tour guide is Thomas Seemann, owner of CapeWineBestWine and an expert on South African wines. We will visit 5 wineries to experience the hospitality of the winemakers firsthand—and, of course, sample their diverse range of wines.
You will stay at The Commodore in Portswood, a 4-star hotel featuring a pool, gym, and its own restaurant, located right next to the famous V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. A private bus (25-seater) will be at your disposal to take you through the stunning landscapes of the Western Cape and show you the beauty of the Cape of Good Hope.
An excursion to the Cape of Good Hope is included, as is a cable car ride up Table Mountain. A major highlight is a personal meeting with Nelson Mandela's former prison guard, Christo Brand, who will share stories of his encounters with "Madiba."
