The Wilderness Photography course gives participants knowledge about their equipment and how to become a versatile wilderness photographer.
The participants also get to know the various elements that together make good wilderness photos. This course gives photographers and aspiring photographers the time and opportunity to implement what they have learned under the guidance of an experienced wilderness photographer.
They spend the mornings and afternoons outdoors looking for opportunities to photograph animals and nature. This is followed by interactive presentations and constructive criticism of the photos taken during the day.

It's not necessary to have big telephoto lenses and fancy equipment. Please bring the equipment you own and we will tailor the workshop to the type of equipment you have.

The focus is on photography in the wild. You'll be out in the bush in the morning and afternoon enjoying spectacular photo opportunities. What qualifications do I need to study wilderness photography?
You don't need any qualifications to take part in a wilderness photography course. Anyone aged 16 and over who has a passion for photography can sign up for the Wilderness Photography course.
How do I prepare for the course?
You must be able to walk at least 2 km, have a valid driver's license (manual transmission preferred) and be able to present (or be willing to obtain) a first aid certificate.
