This trip is limited to a minimum age of 7 years. Children under 12 may participate in hiking and canoeing activities at the discretion of the camp manager and guide. All children must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult at all times.

Activities that include school visits and interactions between school children are not possible during school holidays in Zimbabwe in the months of April, August and December, but a visit to the village to get to know local village life is still offered. You can only go to school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Please note that the Elephant Express must operate according to the timetable set by the National Railway Company of Zimbabwe and as such may be subject to delays and cancellations beyond our control.
