What could be a greater experience than going on a private safari in Botswana? Immerse yourself deep in the African wilderness with your family, friends, or just as a couple. Apart from your ranger and the camp team, there is no one else around. You set the pace, decide where to go, what you want to see, and how long you want to stay to observe.
This itinerary is intended to inspire you as to what such a private safari could look like. Of course, we can tailor it to your interests, make it longer or shorter, include new destinations, or remove existing ones.
You will travel exclusively, far away from other tourists. Only your wildlife guides and the camp team, who take care of setting up and dismantling the camp and preparing meals, will be around you. The rest is pure nature!
You will stay in simple tents (either the so-called bow tents with an area of three by three meters or Meru tents with a floor space of six by three meters). All tents have lighting and their own private sanitary area, consisting of a bush toilet and a bush shower. Soap, toilet paper, bedding, and towels are provided; please bring any other personal items yourself. Warm water for your shower is prepared for you over the fire and filled into the bush shower at your request. The tents are cleaned daily. A generator is available for charging cameras.
The price includes all meals, which are freshly prepared for you every day in the field kitchen. You will also always be provided with fresh water. You are responsible for all other drinks. In consultation with the team, you will visit a supermarket with a large selection of drinks at the beginning of the trip, where you can stock up for the safari. The camp team will then take care of your drinks and ensure they are kept properly chilled.
The exact location of the camps may vary due to water levels, animal movements, and other reasons. The locations indicated on the map are for orientation purposes only. Please do not expect luxury on a trip like this; you are in the middle of nature! There is no electricity, no Wi-Fi, and usually no mobile phone reception. But you have everything you need to have the experience of a lifetime in the midst of this indescribable wilderness.
