At Ajimba, environmental protection is a top priority. We have eliminated paper catalogs, use green electricity for our business operations, and naturally offset the carbon footprint of our own flights.
In September, our Managing Director Frank Wardenberg visited South Africa and became the first to plant an Ajimba tree.
As part of the "Future Trees Project" run by our partner, the "Grootbos Foundation," the Milkwood Forest—which was partially destroyed by fire—is being restored based on photographs from 1937. The project uses endemic tree species. Our Ajimba tree is a Common Pock Ironwood (Chionanthus foveolatus).
