After arriving in Arusha, your journey begins gently with your first overnight stay. Take time to settle into Tanzania and look forward to the safari days ahead.
The Wildebeest Calving Grounds
Today your safari takes you to the southern Serengeti around Ndutu. Between January and March, large herds of wildebeest and zebra gather here for the calving season – an extraordinary natural spectacle that also attracts many predators.
Safari in the Heart of the Serengeti
Two days are devoted to intensive wildlife viewing in the Serengeti. The vast plains offer excellent chances to see lions, cheetahs, large herds and many other species. Your experienced safari guide accompanies you in a vehicle with a pop-up roof.
Ngorongoro Crater
Leave the Serengeti and travel into the Ngorongoro region. A crater tour is included and introduces you to a very different safari landscape with an exceptionally high concentration of wildlife.
From Safari to the Indian Ocean
After your safari days, return towards Arusha. A domestic flight then takes you to Zanzibar, where you are met at the airport and transferred to your beach hotel.

Farewell to Tanzania
