Naukluft Mountains and the Namib
After starting in Windhoek, the route leads into the Naukluft region. There is time for hiking and nature experiences before Sossusvlei and the dune landscapes of the Namib become the next highlights.
Active Days on the Atlantic Coast
Continue to Swakopmund. The coastal town is an ideal base for numerous optional activities such as kayaking, a Living Desert Tour, mountain biking or desert excursions.
Granite Peaks and Rock Landscapes
The journey leads to the striking Spitzkoppe. Walks among granite peaks and rock arches make this one of the scenic highlights of the trip.
Damaraland and Twyfelfontein
Continue into Damaraland. Rock engravings, dry riverbeds and the vast landscapes around Twyfelfontein define this region.
Etosha National Park
Two nights in the Etosha region provide plenty of time for extensive game drives and wildlife viewing at the waterholes.
Waterberg and Kambaku
Continue to the Waterberg region. Nature experiences, bush walks and activities at Kambaku Safari Lodge provide an active contrast to the driving days.
Okonjima and Return
To conclude the journey, the route leads back towards Windhoek via central Namibia. Depending on the itinerary, there may be time for another nature or wildlife experience around Okonjima.
