Moremi, Khwai, and Savuti offer intense wildlife viewing before the route leads through Chobe, Nata, and Kubu Island into the Makgadikgadi region. To finish, you will experience the Boteti River at Khumaga.

Day by day on your journey
Start in Maun
Meet and greet at the airport, transfer to the rental station and receive a detailed briefing on the 4x4, camping equipment and route. After shopping for supplies, spend the first night at a campsite in Maun.
Moremi's Waterways and Savannah
Spend two days exploring Moremi Game Reserve with its savannah, woodland and waterways. Its varied habitats make the area one of Africa's finest safari destinations.
Safari on the Khwai River
Drive into the Khwai area. Along the permanent rivers and lagoons, wildlife can move freely between Moremi and the neighbouring areas.
Predators and Elephants in Savuti
Travel to Savuti in Chobe National Park. Its ever-changing ecosystem of dry river channels and savannah offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing.
On the Chobe River
Spend the next two nights on the Chobe River. Elephants, hippos and buffalo are particularly abundant here and, with a little luck, can be observed at close range.
From Chobe to Nata
After a morning game drive, travel via Kasane to Nata. The long stage then continues mainly on paved roads.
Magical Kubu Island
Set off early for the striking granite island of Kubu Island in the middle of Sua Pan. Baobabs and the vast salt pan create an almost surreal landscape.
Salt Pans and Baobabs
Spend two days exploring the Makgadikgadi region, including Nxai Pan, Baines Baobabs and Njuca Hills. During the rainy season large herds move into the area, and after heavy rains the pans can attract thousands of flamingos.
On the Boteti River
Drive into the western part of Makgadikgadi National Park to Khumaga Camp on the Boteti River. Elephants and zebras are frequent visitors here.
Back to Maun
The final stage leads back to Maun. After returning the vehicle, your camping safari comes to an end.
