Dedicated to the cause since 2009 BikiSA e.V. Our vision is to open up new perspectives for disadvantaged children and young people in South Africa through education, care, and ongoing support. The association partners with the East London Child and Youth Care Center (ELCYCC), specifically the Glen Stella Campus—a home where children who lack family support or come from difficult backgrounds grow up in a nurturing environment.
The work of BikiSA is designed not just to provide short-term relief, but to create long-term opportunities through qualified care, schooling, learning materials, uniforms, and an environment built on stability and trust.
Since the beginning of 2025, my Ajimba colleague Holger and I, along with our South African friend Sabine, have taken on honorary board roles: Holger as treasurer, myself as chairman, and Sabine as secretary. Through this, we aim to express our deep connection to South Africa and our commitment to sustainable development and education. We want to ensure that children and young people there are not only cared for, but also empowered with opportunities for a better future.
For us at Ajimba, BikiSA is not just a secondary project, but a cause close to our hearts. We believe that travel and cultural encounters are about more than just landscapes and adventures—and that sustainable responsibility, respect, and support for local communities should be an integral part of any authentic African experience.
We invite all our partners, friends, and travelers to join us on this journey—whether through awareness, participation, or direct contributions. Every bit helps ensure that the children at the Glen Stella Campus can not only dream, but actively shape their own futures. For every customer, Ajimba will donate €10 to the association.
