What is the project about?

The IMVELO Community Care Project creates a link between nature and people through the participation of the local community in tourism and wildlife conservation. The project´s philosophy is that people living within natural resources are best able to manage them and if they do so in a positive way, they should benefit directly.

What is the project's aim?

The aim is to built a connection between people and nature. The local population and the natural environment should be protected. The community should have the opportunity to benefit from the economic advantages of tourism.

Who benefits from the project?

The local population in Tsholotsho, Hwange, Bulilima and Matobo

What are the challenges?

The lack of financial resources makes it difficult to provide education, health, food and water for the whole community.

How does Ajimba contribute?

Ajimba offers individual travel services in Zimbabwe. In cooperation with IMVELO Safari Lodges, we have developed a wonderful concept that combines safaris of the highest quality with the people and initiatives of the local community.

Is a visit for Ajimba guests possible?

Yes, we will be happy to create an individual safari trip to IMVELO Safari Lodges for you. Please contact us if you are interested. We are looking forward to welcoming you on this fantastic journey.
